About Aga

I have been in consumer and professional advertising for 13+ years, slowly climbing the ladder to become a group art supervisor. Recently I have been working on the managed-markets side of the pharma/medical business, pushing the creative envelope while communicating the data essential to our clients.  My experience includes brand-building, product launches, direct mail, collateral, annual reports, visual aids, patient brochures, newsletters, training information, pull-throughs, nonbranded disease state materials, and new business concepts, both print and digital, in therapeutic areas that include allergy relief, pulmonology, ophthalmology, diabetes, oncology, and cardiovascular disease, for such clients as Regeneron, Bristol-Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca, and Celgene. I also work on new business pitches and various in-house projects. In 2010, I decided to grab my backpack and step foot on all seven continents. During three years of browsing through cultures, landscapes, and delicious food, I developed a new, creative approach to life and a new awareness of the world and myself. I also discovered a passion: crafting award-winning fine art photographs. Since my return to NYC in 2013, I have been back in the industry, overseeing a small team of art directors at The Bloc, gaining experience, and growing as a creative. In my spare time, I photograph, meditate, practice yoga asanas, and take my dog on long hikes in the woods.

I am  a digital  hippie with love for design
and peace for all.

Interests

Photography

Since I was a little girl I helped my parents develop black and white photographs in the basement. This was the beginning of my photography attraction. Currently I specialize in travel photography, and everything that catches my eye. A Nikon D90 is my trusty sidekick, helping me record my digital life.

Traveling

In 2010, I dropped everything and packed up to travel the world. It took three years of backpacking to step foot on all the seven continents. This life changing adventure sculpted me into a nomad, a nomad for life. I spend my mornings reading travel blogs instead of newspapers. Traveling makes me free, takes me out of the box and enhances my creativity.

Yoga & Meditation

Yoga gives me freedom and it makes me still. Meditation awakens my awareness and calms my thoughts. I simply do not see my life without the two. They are my morning cup of coffee to kick start the day. Namaste.

Cooking

I made a conscious decision to stop eating meat and any dairy products, which classifies me as a Vegan. My soul is free in the knowledge that I don’t participate in causing any suffering to other beings. With this decision a new line of culinary creativity opened up to me. Exotic ingredients, creative combos, and colorful dishes is what my vegan kitchen serves. The process of cooking engages me, the result of it fills me with energy.
